Irihapeti Ramsden

"I took with me into the intensive care unit a very ancient adze, toki, that belongs to us or lives with us, 'cos I wanted it to see state of the art technology. I had it under my pillow... to do my exercise with... It's quite a big one, quite a big adze. It was sitting there when I woke up as I asked them to do. I pulled it out (and said) "have a look at all these things, the oscilloscopes, drips and drains, ...it was you, you adzes that enabled us to get to this country. You were the tool that made the ships that brought us here, so just have a look around at the next state of the art!"
They must've thought this woman with an adze was nutty, but it worked.

"I think the praying did make a difference . I think the energy is relevant. The energy of praying, the energy of care of love and concern.

I don't think there's anything more powerful than love.

It can move massive, massive things. But at the same time I did my chemotherapy and drank my betacarotene and went along and did all the tests."
